When there's an use of a "shaking screen effect" like at the beggining of RE3 for instance (appearance of Jill with the explosion at the start of a new game): the FPS goes down to 10, the sprites flickers and it turns to be completely unplayable.
Is there a way to solve this problem ?

When configuring the plugin, set "Framebuffer textures" to black and no more slowdowns. Also nomore blur effects. The only way to see the effects is to either set Framebuffer textures to gfx card or enable full vram primitives and set Framebuffer textures to emulated vram. Both ways are damn slow on any system and probably the only way to get speed is to give up those effects.

No,that's not the type of effect he meant,he's talking about when the screen shakes in RE games(happens to me too),so far I haven't found a way to get it to work properly:( (though it runs full speed here:D )

Oh, sorry then. I never played the game, so I hought it was something like those blur effects that need framebuffer textures. Sorry.:emb:

Thanks for your answers.
Let's just hope it will be solved in future releases of pete's plugin...
