hello everybody, yesterday night i wrote a thread which got deleted by the ops.
I mean, i believe that one of the ops delete it , who could do it else ?
So i will try to formulate this thread a bit more neutral.
I asked about the other emulation teams , i dont wanna say the name (it starts with E and ends with E and a psx is in the middle :-D ), and what they are doing.
Can it be that pcsx is the only team which is creating an ps 2 emu ?
i dont believe so and I (because i liked the programm of the other team more) hope in the Other team :-)

Oh, dissing the PCSX2 team, eh? Heh, oh well, everyone to their own opinion :) The only other PS2 emulator I know of(that actually works) is Neutrino SX2 or something like that.

Actually PCSX2 is the best Ps2 emulator out..i mean its the first to show great GREAT progress on commercial games!! i havent seen no progress from Neutrino SX2 nor any good screens from commercial games. the .4 is surely gonna have a HUGE difference from .3 or anyother PS2 Emulator Releases. Its gonna be like from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95!!! i hope that is..

Ok just to clear up the policy here. In general we never delete posts threads. We could, but I've never seen an instance of this being done. If it is considered nessesary we will lock the thread instead. Normally it is left were it is, but some threads for various reasons are moved it to the hidden archive, which only admin can access.

Regarding you question. Yes there are a few other projects. This is why we have a misc ps2 emu forum. As such I'm moving this thread to that section.

First of , i cant remember that i dissed anybody , i just said that i never liked Pcsx, and that i prefer EpsxE.
And EpsxE was definetly the better Emu for Ps 1.

There is only one what? PS2 emu? i thought someone mentionned NeutrinoSX2 in this thread. that makes 2. and theres a 3rd one but no release by that one yet

yep

there are 3 PS2 Emu's that are being worked at, Pcsx2 being The best so far by releases, it could be that the third emulator (Not NeutrinoSX2) may have surpassed pcsx2 but we cant tell that cuz theres no release or pictures..so i would say PCSX2 is the first to show commercial games :D and is the best emu out there!

I really like PCSX2 also. But Until we start seeing each one showing commercial games we shouldnt really compare them and say one is better. They will probably all catch up to eachother sooner or later but until then Im also rooting for PCSX2 ... :D

But all authors are doing great and keep up the good work. :D

Yes, but the seeing from the PCSX2 progress that very impressive, I can compare them right now. Well, not about their ability to run commercial games, but the progress :)
