View Full Version : Even better filters for VBA?!

Forgotten, I've heard somewhere about 4xSaioO and was wondering if you had heard or experimented with any thing to that effect. If so would it be worth implementing in a future release of VBA?

Well, as I said I "heard" somewhere about it. Doesn't exactly mean it exists though.........it would be nice to know for sure though.

I've experienced a proper 3X filter called hq3x. It looks good, and it will be implimented into a future ZSnes. Maybe this filter may be in VBA one day...

I saw some images using this 3xSAI filter...it looks pretty good when it was applied to a Zelda game. Wished I remembered the URL....oh well, do a search for 3xSAI

Ok, thx for the info. Any thoughts Forgotten?

I don't plan to add any new filters for now.
4xSaI is just 2xSaI applied twice. I don't plan to add filters that make the image 4x.

w00t, can't use 2xSal, it will take up my memory too much and lag the whole system

LAG too much lag...
need more memory...

not only more ram, to use the filters you need a fast cpu and a fast FSB (I hava a P3 700 with a 100Mhz FSB and it's slower than, for example a 666 cpu with a 133Mhz FSB)

That's fine by me, VBA is the best GBA emu out there! :D And I'm happy with the filters that I have. So, Forgotten, take your time and I'll be patiently waiting for the next release.
