actually, i thing the X-Box core is easier to emulate cause its made by M$ and uses a windows Kernel. I think a game will be fully emulated before PCSX2 does anything....

I posted a thread a long time ago on how Xbox emulation should be easy since it used an windows Kernel :p Almost everyone desagreed :p

xbox requirement might be higher than ps2's, but then again, it is a custom made pc after all.

Actually, I'd think that Xbox SysReq would be lower due to the fact that it is a custom PC. It just uses a stripped down Win2000 core (which makes me think - when will there be an OS tailored to gamers, since thats pretty much what the xbox is)

i have a cash to buy ps2 right now...so look like i have to wait for xbox emulator...if the req is high then i just upgrade my pc :P but i will go for the console that have more basketball games;p

Uh See I myself would buy a PS2. But if your willing to wait a year. then wait for an emu sop you can play PS2 games on it then use your money to buy a PS3 or new Xbox when they come out ... :p

yes,i think i better get ps2,since there is no other choice if i want to play basuketto-boru now...but xbox emu really worth to be wait;p but ur right that maybe ps3 or xbox2 come till that time, emulator is always one or two step back from the console :P

I've heard that the new version of windows (longhorn) is going to be tailored more closely along xbox lines (i.e. pop cd in play game no install needed)

just a rumor though

It's only recently that people have taken notice. I've known about it for at least 8 months, it was around November last year. Found it while looking for an Xbox Pad to PC driver. :D
