Well I noticed since they write FINAL PLAYSTATION EMULATOR........!........just guessing..........kindly guys dont start a war in this thread

"FINAL" doesn't necessarily mean "not free." It could just mean the last release.

I saw that too .. it could mean anything ... I also thought it was FPSE: Free Playstation Emulator ... as in Open Source type free .. but since it is no longer Open Source it could be related to that. It also could mean their final one with all the slack they have been getting lately ... could mean Final as in the the only one you will need ... I have no clue, but that is nothing new :D

Yep just like Final fantasy:D It was to be square's last ever computer game before the company folded... well we all know where that led to;)

hehe, the first and only time i tried fpse was back in ver. 07
the one thing i liked about it was that it was a little different.
it didn't work too well for me tho

Since we aren't anymore coding a Free software (Opensource) we changed Free to Final.

What Final means not is up to you to guess^^



PS FPSE executable is still avaible at no cost =)
