ok, I checked my P©SX and it seems I got the same error here, w/ English (above) and Italian (bottom) as language (different "strange" characters).
My OS: W2k Professional (Italian), SP3, DX9.0
Thx, bye

hmm, only in the File/State/Load/Other dialogs, or does it happens as well in the Load Exe and in the Select in the Mcds dialog?
and, can u check if this also happens in the latest PCSX2 version (the one with language support), thanks.

ok, I made the tests u asked for...
- on P©SX it happens only in the File/State dialogs, I mean, the same if u choose Load or Save (and the strange characters seem the same); in the Load Exe and Select Mcds dialogs there'r no problems at all
- on P©SX2 all is ok :)
Thx, bye
Btw, linuzappz, have u received my e-mail?

it Japanese M$ Windows in English?
anyway, even linuzappz didn't experience this problem, so I guess if it's related to my (and euphoria's) Windows version or other programs we installed.
Thx, bye
