Heres one thing that I made. I made a pack of Icons one day cuz I was bored and Windows just don't have that much to offer.

I made a bunch of PSX game icons for epsxecutor (ehh..ehh.. and the BATARD too..yeah, honestly Xeven...don't get angry :heh: )
but they don't look as cool as that though.

I was never that good with icons, but here are a few I put together for MAME32. My personal compile of course. ;)

Samor I love em! The Pacman one is my favorite though. Beleive me I had to go through lots of trial and error before I got mine to look good. ;) And Allnatural those arent bad at all considering there the windows 98 type icons. :) (no alpha transparancy etc ...)

I use Adobe and Gif Movie Gear. ;) I made the icon also. Here it is.

I hope it works good. I used alpha channels (the shadows) And i'm not sure how great that works in 2000. Your welcome. It only took me like 20 minutes to make.

The alpha thing is designed for winXP indeed , but in the bar it works well , i guess because its using an engine of its own thats supports Alpha shadows .

Oh, before you ask ... the same icon I have have difference between them, usually transparent and white background one [ white background one usually used for program icon ].

I made it with Axialis AX Cursor. It's pretty simple and you can even capture image from pictures into icon easily.

Hehehe, its not a big problems. I myself didn't have artistic features too, well a little, yes. But I like drawing, so it trained me much. Use Axialis AX Cursor and you can create icon pretty easly. Get the trial/demo here : www.axialis.com if you want to try :p

Okay I have 36 Icons I made so far ... whew I'm getting tired. Ill try and make a cool concept for those messenger/chat programs. Ill actually draw em too! Im thinking clean look. :) So well I made a counter strike icon that turned out great! Any other popular games you want me to do? That I dont have. Hah you cant see em till there all done though and I release the pack! mwahahaha :D

i used that axialias thingie for a while jsut to change my icons in 98 to ones that looked cool from XP on my other computer when i had 98...but hmm...other games...Deus Ex, UT2K3, UT, Sim City 4 (Its icon was stupid), tribes, tribes 2, Rune, C&C games, Jedi Outcast, Quake III + Team Arena, and Giants...that enough?????? haha...i'm just playin...but those are some ideas...i'm not saying do em all :D but ya know because you and I are just giant fans out the arse..you should definately make one for that...:) lmao...took a while to list those

Soldat one . another one of those programs with a weird pixaleted icon that dont fit anywhere ( www.soldat.prv.pl ) .

And the Chat ones is a great idea , i use ICQ , mIRC , AIM and MSN :P

haha...still nice...All my icons for just about everything i ahve on my computer now are pretty shnazzy lookin right now...even though a lot haven't changed from their norms natural selection and rise of nations look in place along with my custom nero thing (i believe i got it from deskmod and its the same as yours if i recall off desktop thread) and now i have a whole folder dedicated to cool icons...no games for the ones you made are installed yet but definately usin em when i do gget em installed..your the best man...like your site too man...well i liekd the old one...and im sure ill like the new one more :p

thanks alot. :) yea i finally learned how to make the plastic looking icons. made one today. My new site is gonna rock! I cant wait till its ready. I have to dot he screenshots setion still and like 10 more pages of other things. phew hard work indeed. This one is awsome though ... ill give you guys a preview soon. :) I plan on makming icons when i have a little more free time on my hands then ill take orders so to speak of what people want :)
