Full Metal Panic, this anime could have been really good, it had alot of potential. I think they deviated too much into fan service and the action sequences wasn't was well done. Still the relationships were interesting tho.

you should see more of it eface, the first 4 episode's set's the story(all drama with minor laughs) after that it become's more comedic as more characters are introduced, if you stick long enough it's rewarding, not as good as lovehina though, it's more like ah! my goddess.

I never left. I just don't post much :)

I like X. I have the first 5 DVDs. I think its worth it for the music if nothing else.

Another series I like is record lodoss war. a bit old and cheasy. I have the ova, the tv series, and the crystania movies on dvd. Animation is a bit poor but I like the cheasy story. If your looking for great animation look elsewhere. The Music is pretty good though.

I thought the story was really good but the anime was a bit weird since they changed animators a few times durring the production. Pioneer put together a nice box set for the dvd release. Cost about a third of what I paid for the VHS tapes back in the day. The last couple of episodes are the best animated. a few episodes in the middle make the charaters look more japanese and less anime style which is refreshing but kind of throws the viewer for a loop trying to figure out who is who.

I like the dubbing on this one as well. Genpachi is hilliarious in both but his english voice over is great. the Japnaese voice acting is good but the story teller's voice is horrid and makes the japanese version hard to listen to.

i rented the 2 dvd complete serie's of recorrd lodoss of war and the art and animation cant get any cheesier, i wonder how you finished the serie's? i saw 3 episode's and thats it, i cant bare watching it and the story isnt good either

The story about an alien sensei getting inloved with a 15 yr. old(he should be 18 but due to a standstill effect he is 15) is ridiculous, i encode all my anime's if you must know why i even bothered backing this serie's up

aww come on, give it a bit more credit. Its not the best anime, but its not the worst either. I liked the whole deal with the relationship between Mizho and Kei. Except they could have cut down on the sheer amount of fanservice though (like the OVA, uuuuh).

Wow, thats what just about everyone I know says about it, except for me. For what ever reason, I thought that their relationship was good enough to hold my interest, along with the whole turmoil with Kei's friends.

i'll try and watch the 2nd dvd with an open mind, i might eventually like it. But if things doesnt seem to be going anywhere i'll discontinue the serie's asap as i've only seen the first 5 episode's

hehe, my take on the serie's, it's very good indeed, nadesico fans will like it just replace the robots w/ plane's. I watch the dubbed version so it felt really weird but didnt stop me from enjoying it. The title says it all "virgin fleet", it's a group of virgin recruits that's suppose to embody gifted powers coming from their virginity, dont be fooled by the silly plot the serie's is actually good.

i watched the movie X and is so cool, the thing that i din't like is that every fight ended up so quickly and both people died, well i never watched the tv series so its not expected for me to understand everything but i give it an 7.5/10.

btw, this is a crazy idea that i had last year during the summer, i was thinking of getting a page with unlimited space to put anime episodes so people can download, it wouldn't by so slow like in many p2p sharing places, and i would put only the episodes with the best quality, well i'm going to work this summer and i've found a site that has a unlimited space page with really goodservers and that kind of stuff for 25.99 dollars a month, well plus the anti-virus and other stuff that they charge ,it will go for 40 dollars(us dollars), and i was thinking on keeping the page open for at least 2 years, and then or close it or run it through some donations, but 2 years would be good, people could download all their anime for free, well i could charge people for faster servers for faster downloads( i mean servers were there wouldn't be no lines) to keep the page running, the good thing is there would be a great selection of anime for everybody, even hentai for the 18+ (who cares???18?? bleh), but some people told me the page wouldn't last 2-3 months because they would try to shut it down, kinda like rom pages but what do you guys think about?????????

You shouldn't have a problem with the webpage as long as the the anime that you post is unlicensed. Most websites with licensed anime get desist letters sent to their ISPs after a few months. Heres a website with a list of all currently licensed anime, but it changes frequently.

Kind of, from my understanding this is a gray area of the law. Technically the distribution of licensed and unlicensed anime is a violation of the WTO TRIPS Agreement, a international law that governs intellectual property. Yet do to its special situation, it unlicensed anime distribution is not a criminal offence unless it is done on a commercial scale. Therefore companies would have to prosecute people in civil court. In the end the Japanese countries tolerate the fanstubers and their distributors as they cause less damage than it would cost to eradicate them.

Here's some pics of Great Teacher Onizuka: Live Action. Yes, yes I know this isn't anime, but the anime is based off of it. In many regards I happen to like the live action better than the anime. The anime was way too random and for some reason didn't make sense all the time. I haven't finished it yet, I've only watched the first couple of episodes as they are about 45 min long.
