Hey guys, anyone knows what kinda software can read chinese words normally? not just on IE, even like chinese names...for winxp pro. even better if it could wirte them...thanks =)

P.S not sure if this was suppose to go here or the software forum...

Just go to "Regional and Language Options" in Control Panel and choose your language on the "Advanced" tab. On the "Language" tab you can set language input.

and to get chinese/japanese/korean characters in windows apps, get NJStar Communicator from http://www.njstar.com .

best to follow WindHydra's idea cuz i use that too n it works well. n u can also type chinese that way. u can just push buttons on ur keyboard to change text input. as for njstar, i dont know, it cant read some chinese,

I think NJStar is not NT compatible and when you input chinese filename with it it can't be opened in chinese win98 :(
