Hi all,

I was wondering what the general opinion was of what the best N64 emulator is? I generally tend to stick with project 64 as it seems to be most compatible with my games and it runs nice and quick (although speed is not an issue as my PC is quite new).

So guys, what's your prefered emulator of choice?

Hmm, I also had the same question. About what N64 emu had the BEST SPEED, so I don't mind less good graphics or sound. If someone can tell which is the fastest of PJ64, Nemu64, 1964, SupraHLE and UltraHLE.... my problem would be solved. Cause I've got a low end system, with a TNT2.

ps DON'T tell me to use Corn, because that is the fastest one, but it's incompatible with most of the games. Too bad....

1964 is fastest, followed by PJ64 and Nemu64 (I THINK?!) Other emulators are not that good...only got forums for these BIG 3.

i havent tried 1964, but i'll go for project 64, maybe because its much simpler and greater speed.

I, personally, go for PJ most of the time because of it's lovely compatibility, followed closely by 1964 and Nemu64. I prefer PJ mainly because it is the most commonly used emulator and works adequately for me. 1964 and Nemu is what I use if I get any compat poblems with PJ.

its not a bit off topic cause its still in the discussion about n64 emus ok!?

and we are talking about N64 emulator so if one emu supports forcefeedback better than the other thats the best ok!?

so its related on the topic...

ask me if its off topic if I ask about PS2 games or PS ok!?

 I don't think that force feedback w/PSX controllers is supported by any of the existing N64 input plugs. Most people are using a N64 controller + adapter, not a PSX controller, so the plug devs probably haven't seen the point in integrating this feature (plus, I don't know if it is possible, the controller has to receive signals from the console for this and I don't know if it would be feasible to have the plugin convert those signals to be understandable by the PSX controller).

If you have an N64 controller and adapter then you can use a rumble pak with N-Rage's input plug, otherwise maybe a polite email containign your suggestion (and maybe a small paypal donation ;) ) to the plug dev might be in order ;)
