View Full Version : Is there a good controller plugin for my PSX controllers?

I'm using my PSX dual shock controller via a PSX-to-PC adaptor. It works well in ePSXe and many other PC games.

How can i make it work in psxeven? thanks.

yes, go w/ it, I think it's the best one :) And, just to know, if your PSXtoUSB is the Super Dual Box and u have problems, let me know ;)

Mine is Dual USB FFB (MP88-66)

It seem to be configurable in the options (even the FFb effects) but it doesn't work when playing the game.

OK, nevermind. It worked already :D but not the FFBs. :(

Kinda weird configuration detection.

ok, MP-8866 is the ID of the Super Dual Box, check this thread > http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=33566 to try to configure it for the ForceFeedback...

Well...the thing is my dual shock works perfectly in epsxe except for a few titles like MGS which the FFB is not supported in epsxe.

The FFB simply dun work for me in PSXeven, it works when i'm configuring the controller but not during gameplay. BTW, the game i tried is GT2.

well, just a simple question: have u read the thread I linked? because there'r some info how u need to configure your pads to use FF... and btw, I tried the SDB aka MP-8866 on ePSXe and on PŠSX/Harakiri w/ GT2: it works, even for the rumble :)

Sadly i dont have any support for the vibration atm, watch for it in the next version. :p

little late, but... I like a lot N-Rage Gamepad plugin, is really cool and easy to use :)

\me too, but it doesn't support ForceFeedback, but u can use it on PSXeven w/ no problems (as PSXeven haven't had rumble support yet...) ;)

My controller now does not work with the latest 0.15 version.

I had problems with that plugin before. Have you tried another pad plugin?

harakiri 1.04 freezes ps7 0.16b on my pc. tried n-rage and works okay.

that's odd I'm using Harikari 1.04 and it works fine in ps7 0.16b. I just have to use a different pad plugin for the second player.

tried using another plugin for the second controller but it still freezes. i wonder why... at least it still works with the other plugin.

a new prob with n-rage... it only works on certain games. really wierd, since it reads input from my controller nicely though.

hmm...maybe there is something wrong with your controller's drivers :confused:

i doubt it. it works perfectly fine on epsxe and vgs.....hmmm, what could i be missing?

using PS7 0.16b
N-Rage 0.95 on both controllers, (tried the second one with
another plugin)
PS 2 USB controllers plugged in as analog (tried digital too)
games tested so far is tekken3 us, ridge racer type 4 us,
sould edge jp, ff7 us and suikoden 2 us. tekken 3 and ridge racer reads the cotroller just fine while doesn't even recognizes start on the other two.
all games work just fine using segu, but crashes when using harakiri.
error message says there's something wrong with harakiri's dll.

AMD athlon 1700

what's actually the problem? and in which games? I mean, problem w/ analog, digital or something other. Please be more specifid, even if we can't help u :(
