mmm...I believe someone does post this thread, but I am too lazy to browse thru all those old threads...so is there any plans or rumours out there about turning Zelda into a movie?

I mean we got Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, Resident Evil and a few others turned into movie. I would be d-lighted if Zelda really turned into movie, man talk about Link crossing the Hyrule Field or maybe even Kokiri itself is damn beautiful...for romantic scenes, we might add Link with Zelda herself, or Malon, or Saria or whatever. The the bosses in the dungeon will damn it! COOL! (Am I dreaming too much?) :D

I know the storyline of Zelda does not fit well into movie, but hey (Navi said it right?), where there is a will, there is a way. Hey Steven Spielberg, Hey George Lucas! Hey James Cameron!

Good lord. We already had Pokemon invading the big screen, not another kiddy fanchise.

well, pokemon might be childish, but zelda is not right? zelda got those indiana jones-like adventures, pokemon got doraemon-like adventures, enough said...

Did you check out your avatar recently?
Even if we just talk about the N64 version Zelda is kaka. If they want to make a movie from a game, why don't they make a moview from a game with a little more substance.

but it already had zelda's comic ,TV programs

if im not mistaken it's metroid thats going to the big screens and not zelda.

I hope Zelda and metroid don't make it to the silverscreen. Most game movies just don't feel right.

I like the Zelda series but it would not make a good movie. Nintendo already screwed up with the Super Mario Bros. movie, I hope a movie studio doesn't give them the chance to do it with Zelda. Although a Metroid movie could be cool if it was done right.

Maybe a cel-shaded cartoon of Zelda would be a success? Well, i also don't think it's good for Zelda to be transformed into real-life. I really can't get enough from Zelda Wind Waker by just looking at the screenshots, coz I can't afford a GameCube :(
