I got my hands of Zelda: A Link to the Past /w Four Swords. I can play ALttP but I cannot get Four Swords to play. I shows "Linking with other systems, please wait". I just want to play 4 Swords like a single player, not multiplayer. Can it be done? I use VisualBoy Advance 1.4. :eyemove:

First of all, it is not possible, for as the game is required to play with 4 human players. And there is no computer support for the 4 swords. You would need a very smart computer to have computers play that game ;)

Actually, from what I heard the game can be played with 2, 3 or 4 players. But you're right on the rest, AFAIK there's no way to play it in single player.

You need atleast 2 players to play it, as mentioned above. There are only 4 levels for it, correct me if I'm wrong. Each level requires some sort of team work, thats why you cannot play alone.

If two or more can play the GBA emulation of Zelda 4 Swords, then HOW? what setting?

*sighs*
There is no GBA emulator that currently has link support, and futhermore, none will for a good long time owing to the technicaly unfeasablility.

There is a GBA emulator that has link support: NO$GBA
But I think there isn't any bots yet to play agains the cpu :)
BTW, If you have the rom, you SHOULD have the cart and the gba, so buy a link cable and play against a fried of yours :D

I have 4 open USB ports on my computer. Is it possible to link up to play 4 swords by connecting multiple controllers to the same pc?

nope, as mentioned it's not a question of whether or not u have the ability to accomodate up to 4 players on one PC, multiplayer (on multiple GBAs) just isn't supported in VBA at all, the creator didn't implement that feature.
< see the "When will VBA get netplay?" thread to read more on Y he didn't and won't in anytime soon > :(

Basically, unless you get a GBA and hook up with some friends, or if someone writes a GBA emu with Link support, there's no way to play this.....sorry. :)

sorry, in order to emulate 2 or more players mode, the emulator has to emulate two(or more) GBA systems, and also emulate a perfect link, with no slowdowns, or else the link breaks...
it's really complicated to make such an emulator, not to mention an emulator that has netplay...
