You dont even want to know. That was my uncle's acura which just blew up, literally as you can tell the by picture. Still unknown of the cause for it doing such a thing. And amazingly my uncle survivded with a scratched, just some burned hair.

Warranty, or insurance? Well, I dont even know what he did with that, I believe his insurance covered something for it, a total loss. I got a frontal pic also.

Frontal: looks fine in the front.....but the back is history. I think the sunroof flew into a tree. Keep in mind, my uncle was in the car at the time.....

Btw: me and my uncle don't believe in modifying a car with nitros, raw/stock power is the way a car is ment to be handled, if you need nitros to make your car go fast, thats just pathetic.

Well, maybe the tire exploded. Don't look at me like that! I've never seen one blow up outside of extreme conditions, ie fire, but it can happen. *edit* I must be blind, or stupid. Yeh, definitely stupid. The tires are just fine :p

But it seems like the gas tank exploded. Perhaps it was lit by fire and when it ignited it blew up.

So your uncle was in his parking spot and I assumed he turned on the car and the rear end of the car just exploded and your uncle escaped with only minor scratches and some burnt hair? Do you know any else of what happened or is that it?

All I can say is the car was badly and seriously damaged, but just like Quatro says.. your uncle was still ok... It would be a bad thing if your uncle died on the car... (oops.. i'm sorry but i've to be honest..)

Yeah it still does look like an acura from the front, whats left of it anyway. No, my uncle isn't a smoker, so thats out of the question. No one knows why it happened, even the police were baffled. (have pics of those morons hanging around the car in astonishment)
