hi,
first: big thanks to all emulator authors for your efforts!
i´m quiet new to the psx emulation scene... so please be kind if i´m asking stupid questions ;)
as nearly every noob i first used epsxe.. but it doesn´t support 2 analog pads, does it? i had the same problem described here (http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=22914)
so i switched to pcsx.. it´s really great! full analog and rumble support due to plugin support..
but i´ve got one question: are there any command line options for pcsx? i need something similar to the epsxe command line option "-nogui -loadbin C:\iso.bin"
if there aren´t any command line options, is there another possibility to make a shortcut which starts pcsx and loads an iso file immediately? (or could you integrate such options to your next release? :emb: )
currently i´m using pcsx 1.4!
thanks in advance for your answers, and keep your good work on !

That reminds me of a question I wanted to ask every emu author.
There is that -p (given with a value like 25 or 30) command line option in epsxe which speeds up the emu. What that really is (adds memory handlers or something I read) and is it possible in other emus ? Wouldnt it be great to have an option where you just click on emu settings "fast" and it gains 10 fps.

you could? that would be.... marvelous (at least for me :) )
i didn´t expect such an answer!!
But, i don´t know how hard it would be to implement such options... so if it would take to much time i could understand you not adding command line support only for one user who is too lazy to make 3 clicks more launching an iso :eyemove:
nevertheless i would be very happy to have the ability to make shortcuts to my isos (speaking for me, i don´t need other options!)
best regards,

hi, prafull, i don't really know about the -p option, and i haven't seen it on the ePSXe readme, you should ask what does it really do to its authors ;), but i guess it's a hack for the vsync timer and i don't think it's a good idea to mess with that.

which plugin r u using to have rumble support on P©SX??? is it w/ the Windows version? because IIRC, the Harakiri plugin works only for PSXtoLPT (the printer port) adaptor... as I had the same problem (not 2 analog pads on ePSXe, but I think it'll be solved soon ;)), I'd like to use P©SX and if it supports the rumble... :) I use a PSXtoUSB...
Thx, bye

From epsxe help file:
-p <num>..........................Adds penalty cycles to memory access.*****

hi gismo,
i´m using the Harakiri plugin with pcsx 1.4 (windows version) and 2 logitech wingman rumble pads on usb port..
i installed and configured the harakiri plugin the "normal way" and it worked for me immediately (analog and rumble!)
