Emufanatics Banned me? [Archive]

I went to emufanatics.com (used to be psxfanatics.com) and I had to register. But It said my e-mail address was banned and I never been there before!!!!!!:mad: Has this happened to any of you?

Email address banned? I tried to sign up with an account of Hotmail and Yahoo. I got the same errors, that is, my email account is banned.

I signed up with an email account from my local ISP and had no troubles.

Hmm.
I havent been following the site lately but I guess it was decided some time ago that hotmail and yahoo accounts wont be accepted.(there was some sort of scare).

To cut down on the ammount of people who just sign up for a free download or something.....just so they dont get as many non-active users.

Hotmail accounts and yahoo accounts are all blocked. This is to stop banned members from resurfacing.

yeah... I tried that too but since they don't let those kinda user... I'll register there when I feel like getting a new email account...

They banned my hotmail e-mail... Maybe, they think it's hot, that they thought of it to have some bad content..

IIRC i also had these problems, but ES told me that free email service are not allowed, due to some reasons.

I use email that comes free to me from my isp. I then use outlook to check it, but I could check it online too. If your ISP has email, look into it and see if its free. If it is, use it. Its alot faster then stupid hotmail/html mail.

That's the best thing you do DW.. Well I was banned in the past. Because I was Dude to the Forums, but I was able to login and the Banned sign appears beside my Nickname. now I cant login!!!

well hope you can make something going about the email account... I don't like to make a new email account that I won't be able to use frequently... hope either the yahoo or hotmail account would work in time...

I will remove the block on the e-mail accounts.

Also BTW it is setup to block all hotmail and yahoo accounts by setting it up like *@hotmail.com .. so it's not your personal account that is banned, but all hotmail accounts.

Like I said I will remove this since we have very few banned people, and nobody recently. If it becomes a problem I can easily add it back in.
