Views on the upcoming FFX-2

So..what do you guys think? After seeing the screenshots, wallpapers etc I think its gonna be a hit just like what FFX was. Yuna in "modern" day clothes...guns...

If you have any idea about FFX, then the story would be your main concern, and not the "modern day Yuna" :p

Meh. I think I've made my view on the game fairly clear in other threads. I don't think anyone wants to hear it again.

I think it goes without saying though that there are a million+ people around here who will buy the game simply because it's got Final Fantasy written on the front.

FF should have ended after part 8.
But I guess Square(or what remains of them) will continue to milk the cow, and fanbois will still play the games, no matter how often the same recepies are reused. It's nearly as sad as CS.

Im quite interested in the game, and I know I will buy it when the time comes, but Im looking forward to FFXII more. One screenshot of the setting in FFXII beat whatever girl pic of FFX-2 for me.

Seriously though, I hope they don't screw up. And no matter how many times u say it Ninja, the FF series is still a great one :p Although I'm a bit worried about this girlie frenzy Square is having. Sure let the three main charecters be girls but don't sell a game using the image...That's too low even for Square. And ofcourse, no judgement 'till I try the game which won't be in the near future. When IS the US release date BTW?

Get an upgrade in 2006 and download the latest version of your favourite PS2 emu. It'll run FFX-2 just fine. :)

Square have said as much. FFX-2 is definately on the 2 as it's al lbut released. FFXII is being worked on for the PS2.
