FF9 saving problem [Archive]

I was playing FF9 in disc 1 when the first moogle appear, I save the game...ok, done...exit the game and shut the computer and rest for a while. WHen i wake up, I switch on the computer play the ps emulator and try to load the game, darn it!!! That save data is gone!! Anyone can tell me the problem?

Sounds like a bug that once existed in v1.4.0. the latest version is 1.5.2. If you are using the earilier one I'd recommend you update.

Ok. Sorry to check to check the obvious, but have you specied the memcard filenames in epsxe memcard section?

Are you exiting back to ePSXe's gui by pressing ESC? Do not click the 'X' to close the graphics window. Also, do any messages appear in the DOS window?
