Yeah crap PowerVR technology. The Kyro II doesn't ship with many DirectX 7 features. Let alone DirectX 8. Though it might be cheap, it's still not gonna last the gamer long enough. Not worth it in my opinion!

The Dreamcast contains the Kyro I.

The Kyro II is a very good chip. It can outperform the GeForce 3 in some cases. But most of the time, it is 30% faster than the GeForce 2 MX. It is obvious, that the Kyro II is thought as a concurrence for the GeForce 2 MX, since it costs ~ 150$ with 64 MB of RAM.

The Kyro II doesn't outperform the GF3 whatsoever.
The Kyro II offers performance which is on par with a GF2 Pro, which is just below a GF2 Ultra, for much less money...

Oh, just to mention, the Kyro II lacks a Hardware T&L engine, so it is severely lacking in games that use HW T&L, like MDK2...

Yep I've got MDK2, but only a TNT2 ultra video card. It looked very good on a friend's geforce 2 though.

yes, but then again, a gf2 mx seems too slow for T&L..
