Post a screenshot because I can't make heads or tails about what you're trying to say.

Heh. I know what you are talking about. It's helpful in most cases, but in a few it just gets in the way.

The trick to beating it is a high zoom level. Just zoom in until you can see the pixels, and then move it around. Your movements will be EXTREMELY precise.

I have my own little problem...as you can see in my sig when i make a gif file (to have invisible edges) it is really jaggy. is there any way i can make it not with having the invisible still there like with png or something? please help!

No, it has to be a GIF. One thing you could try though is to go over the edges with a very small feathered eraser. It will smoothen the lines a lot.

You could also try a blur method of some sort to smoothen the edges.

I tried both and it works when i am looking at it in adobe but as soon as i convert it to gif it just makes either erased or not erased (ya know what i mean?) you know there is no fading into or feathering. crap i dunno!? If anyone knows how or wants to help me i can send them a copy of it in psd format or pdd (same thing) but someone please help. thanks for the suggestions ninja but it just wont work.

BAH! Sorry man, but it seems that Photoshop 6 does an even worse job with it. :( Not much I could do with it. Sorry.
