anyone know where i can get blindread and ddump? Do they require cd writer drive in making iso? Are they free?

But you can get the limited beta of Blindwrite wich will expire in august (when I checked)
And besides the time limit there is norhing else which makes the beta worse then the bought product.
BTW blindread can read many sratched discs. (maybe ddump can too, I dunno)

CDRWin is probably the best other than it isn't free:( I use Isobuster and I find that it's great:)

does anyone of you have psx cd's that stopped at 99% while making an iso?

Isobuster works fine to me. I like it...
I also like Isobuster. Works with most games without a hitch, and it's pretty fast; the price is also just right, too.

I use CDSpace Power+ to make my ISO images and have no problems with it.
The only problem is that it uses its own file format before you convert it to iso

guwapings, if your reading stops to 99% then it's copy-protected... use the CloneCD to do the "ISO" and tadaa! it reads it... use copy-protection-detection v. 0.6 to see the copy protection type...
