I just saw James Bond Die Another Day today, and I must say it kicked some major a$$. I'm a huge Bond fan and I've seen every single 007 movie. I think Brosnan is a good Bond, but I was REALLY disappointed by The World is Not Enough and Tomorrow Never Dies. I thought Goldeneye was pretty good though. Anyway, I think Die Another Day was the best Brosnan JB movie to date. The only bad part was that they got Chinese actors to play the major roles of the North Koreans and they had crappy accents when they spoke in Korean. Even the minor characters like passing guards who actually were played by Korean actors, had obvious South Korean accents, not North Korean... but I guess the average viewer wouldn't notice that :D
So yeah, I thought this movie rocked. If you haven't seen it I would recommend it. And if you have seen it, how do you think this movie rates compared to other Bond flicks?

Yeah... the tidal wave surfing looked really fake... and it was kind of silly. I didn't really think about the fact that it was a convertible... Haha, that is amusing. Nevertheless, I thought the car was phat (they went back to the good ol' Aston Martin after a having BMW for the last few) and the whole car chase/fight scene was really cool.

I dunno... seems like bond has been operating without any balls lately... Guess they've just been prepping us for a possible spin off with Halle barry.

I haven't seen it yet. I will one of these days though. It's better than Glodeneye you say? That's quite a feat, considering that Goldeneye has been my favorite to date.

It's excellent, and the opening credits sequence is actualy part of the film this time.
Mr.Kill was funny. Quintissential Bond bad guy:
'Shoot her'
Mr. Kill 'No I wnna use my laser'
All in all a fun film. Better than previous Brosnan efforts, better than a lot of the older Bonds to. It's probs in my top 3 est Bond's
The plot's practicaly been done before (I shall make a huge laser out of diamonds and plant it in the sky).

Very good film. Lots of innuendos (sp?), an aston martin with ton of gadjets, and lots of homages to the past (the bikini scene from Dr. No, the laser from goldfinger etc...).

I liked it. Compared to the old ones, PB's have had alot more in the way of action and are more entertaining, but the old ones had more in the way of story and stuff, but they are all pretty good
Over all this movie is pretty good, the best part is when Halle Barry comes out of the water
********Spoiler************
The one thing I didnt like was how the bad guy(I never did catch his name :p) Had the DNA replace ment thing, that was just pretty weird. Then again, that was the big twist in the movie.

Havnt seen the movie, but I heard he was smoking a cigar. That go anti-smokers sh!t in a knot, because he said he as 007 would never smoke in a bond movie. They say it sets a bad example, but he does:
1) Womanize
2) Blow up everything
3) Endanger the public saftey
4) Kill kill kill more ppl
5) endanger/kill local law enforcement (In goldeneye he runs over a cop car while in the tank, crushing the driver)
:D so, whats so bad about him having 1 cigar?
Thats just the facts, I love the movies tho:)

Also, Bond seems to have lost his suaveness. its like he can never just chill in Monte Carlo drinking Martinis anymore. hes more brutal.
