Xenogears.... again.

I need some help please. I am designing a new desktop background for Xenogears because all the ones I found on the internet suck.

I am trying to design the theme around the connection between Miang and Elly. I am currently stuck, and would like some ideas. Here's what I have so far.

The one you attached is pretty good. You look like you went a little overboard on the shading effect in the middle, but there isn't much to improve that one. Any advice I'd have is to go after some (different) fan art (I have a few better ones) or rely on the Xenogears art book scans.

hey ninja i hope that this will sort of inspire you. i made this six months ago and stopped it in favor of making a onimusha wallaper. :emb:

i also cleaned it up a bit... so that i could post it and it won't be considered as porn... it doesn't show anything... but, i'm just afraid to post it, the uncensored version anyway (just countours and shapes, for the uncensored). o well.

heh. Gamer1, your pic sums up quite nicely what I was trying to show. I especially like the reflection that you have in the upper right. I was trying for something darker myself though. think of www.digitalblasphemy.com They have some really nice ones there, and they are all dark with bright monotone highlights. I love them, but I want Xenogears damnit! I think I should make the background sketches more fluorescent, and dim the color images.

Ryos, the center pic's aura isn't really my doing. The pic was like that when I found it. lol. I kind of liked it though, so I touched it up a bit and threw it in. I do see an area of the aura I forgot to patch though. ;)

Anyways, thanks for all your comments. I will continue working on this, and try to come up with something I would actually like to have as a dektop one of these days. ;)
