Strange Error window..

I've been trying out PCsx v1.4 for a couple of days and there seems to be a strange problem..

Every time I load up PCsx, an error window pops ups stating:

"The config data is older than version 1.3. Please set up once again"..

Then I load a game and PCsx crashes back to desktop.. I think another error window popped up and forced me back onto the desktop.. Either way, the only way to fix this is to delete the PCSx regestry key.. AFter which I need to reconfigure it over again.. I've done this twice already and it seems to work, but only for a certain amount of time, after which the same error starts happening again.. Is there a permanent fix to this?

I think there is an issue which revolves around the Hariaki (sp) pad plugin in. It needs to be either reconfigured, or change to a different pad plugin.
(best advice change to segu's pad plugin)

TSGKnp is a better option, anyway, changing PAD plugins was really the problem?

Did you do that manually? If so try the registry cleaner as well.

About pad plugins... I don't think it's the problem here. But to be save, use a different pad plugin for each player (e.g. null for P2).
