I saw an interview with this Peter Pan fairy on TV a few weeks ago. Hadn't heard of him before, but apparently his site gets millions of hits (not unlike crowds swarming around a car wreck, I guess).
He's a computer programmer in real life, and began dressing up like a freak to play out his girlhood fantasies. :p
An unexpected benefit was that his company eventually agreed to let him work from home, since his fruity wardrobe wasn't being well-received in the office... You have to wonder why.
