in every game I've tested my vertexex can't stand still...this causes the models to change shapes, like they are shaking...
I was wondering why does it do that? is there anything u can do to fix it?

Essentially with no z buffer, 3d objects will jitter.. Can be lessened with FSAA though..

I can still see the vertexes jumping when I run at a resolution of 160x100, then this should also be noticeable on a real PSX connected to a TV, am I right?
cuz I mean a TV can do higher rez than that...
well anyways, just a thought.

The real resoloution is 320x224

its also visible on a tv, but less since the screen on a tv is more "blurry"

So I guess in some weird and twisted way Squaresoft was lazy with drawing polygons?

More likely, it's just a fact of psx emulation..

The PSX is lacking sub-pixel accuracy, so models can only move in multiples of one pixel in any direction. This measn that running in anything other than the natice resolouition makes it look odd.
The PSX did look like this, but it wans't an issue as people use TVs which blur the image.

Actually Lord Kane, the jittering polygons have always been a major complaint of mine about the PSX hardware, even when I was running the real hardware. For some reason jaggies don't bother me nearly as much as a lack of perspective correction, and jittering polygons.
