The simpsons. The creator of this comic (matt Groening) went on to create them a couple of years later. IIRC this guy became one of Krusty's sidekicks.

hmmmm, I dont recall Binky ever appearing on the show itself (unless it was one of the earlier episodes, or was in the background), but Binky did get a promient part in the Konami arcade Version of the Simpsons (and maybe other games as well).
