With the key cd in, I run bleem 1.5b and nothing happens! no error msg, no nothing. Bleem just hangs in the background. The demo (v 1.4) works without a problem. Should I request a new Key cd from Bleem! inc.? or could there be something wrong with my computer?

Well, it probably isn't a damaged CD Key. That's a bug with bleem! that some people seem to have. Unfortunately, last I heard, there wasn't a fix for this. You might be best off trying bleem's tech support (They're tech support people are really cool), and see if they have a fix/workaround for it, yet.

 I don't know why you're still playin' on Bleem! while there are other emus that are better like ePSXe 1.4.0 !!! It works better and faster that Bleem:!

if every time someone needs help on bleem!, and someone else post a reply like this, that can be quite annoying.

;) . Yup.

Anyway, a clean install of windows always did the trick for me. As well as installing the latest drivers for your video card. Bleem always hung when I had that Diamond TNT card, and with certain drivers.

For slow computers, Bleem always runs the fastest (Imagine a 233 Mhz Cyrix CPU) on the games it runs.

eijin:
Bleem is a lot more stable, and it chooses the correct resolution for the game which is nice, cas its not streched. Also, bleem displays great graphics without having to screw with the gpu options. (and sound)

Dont get me wrong, I love epsxe and the other emulators, but I have a lot of problems with them. In ff8 for example, I cant play any movies unless I start the game over, and play a little of the opening movie, then load the state i was in before. Weird bug huh?

If epsxe was as stable, and had the features I like in bleem, I would pay double the price bleem costs for it..

Well anyways, I reinstalled windows and bleem works fine now, Winsows is gay like that

I agree Bleem may not be the best around for new games, but for games that i used to play or that i play now cause my neighbour (who has like about 250 games (spoiled))is on holiday it is just great.
But the problem you have...I had it too. I got a cd key from a somebody i can't remember and it just didn't work:(. I tried the hack from the internet anf it did work!!!:)

I had that problem yesterday, but all i had to do was try to run bleem without the cdkey in the drive then put it in when it asked for it.
