Was brauchst du einen ppf file???

*edit*Links to that website are not permitted! *edit*:-Beta

*edit* sorry I didn't know that but now I do *edit* Snowbear

:embl:

Your translation program seems to have some small bugs, but the result is not bad. Only the last sentence was total nonsense (could you write it in English, please?) :)

Well, This a point to disccuss. What if that person doesnt know how to speak english well? Do you want him to use those crappy translators which are found all over the web so he can write in english? I think this point should be looked at carefully, although i do agree that all threads should be in english

BTW: Does anybody need an English translation of the stuff we said?

One good reason, as I mentioned, is that we can't moderate it.

This is an English speaking forum. It's the laguage used if two people don't speak the same first language more often than not.

All the admins can speak English to a greater or lesser degree.

What do we do when Samor and Bobbi aren't about to moderate the german thread?

I dont want to see this forum turing to a non english speaking forum. Yes, English is the language everyone should speak with, but nevertheless, not everyone in the whole world knows enough english when he comes to ask a question. Come to think about it, Its like subscribing to a chinese forum when you cannot speak that language well. I think this problem should be resolved again. Keeping such threads without moduration means people can insult each other without admins' notice and killing such threads in front of the non english speaking indivisuals will be cruel....

as for the moderation part, nothing to moderate here, except i hope this wont turn into a flamewar ;)

Anyways, it was about sound problems with The World Is Not Enough. Last time I checked I didnt have problems with this game, except for the briefings.

Yes, and age determines maturity. To the ignorant, maybe.

I'm about 10+ years ahead of myself, everyone i know says it.

I am not here to argue with you. To say the truth, you need to mince your words before you speak. flaming in this forum will bring you nothing but trouble. Dont forget that you were banned on June for a week by Bobbi when you were flaming another user

K huh? Sounds a lot like MiB. :p

Anyway, I'm sorry if this thread had degenerated to this level because of my post, whether directly or indirectly. But people shouldn't have had made a big deal out of this. There were two mods involved in the discussion when it was active: Pete Bernert himself and Samor, and I REALLY doubt they would overlook any infractions of the rules just because the rest of us wouldn't understand it.

well, the initial (german) question was 'how to create a PPF file myself', something an average user can't do (since PPF files are usually changing the psx game code to ignore copy protections, or adding cheats, etc, so you need a lotta psx coding knowledge to create a patch).

Of course most psx emu users do know that they can't create PPF's themselves (do they? ;)), so I thought a quick reply in german would be the easiest way.

But of course I also wouldn't want to see the ngemu boards get flooded with german (spanish, italian, french, greek, japan, chinese, russian, *enter your favourite language here*), that would turn into a second Babylon, and there are other emu boards around for native languages...

for example: germans can use

http://geb.emubase.de

if they are having troubles to post/read something in english (damn, somehow my logic here is flawed... if some german doesn't understand english at all, he can't read this post at all, and will never know what the link above is about, tststs ;))
