Hey everybody,
can any of u tell me the best spu plugin (I thing is Nullīs) and the fastest configuration whit the spu plug?
I donīt have a faster system, for that I need help whit speed.
Really I have three systems but I work in a:
k6-2 500
56 mb
sis 530 8mb
(donīt laugh)
help me...
and, if u want can tell me the best sound settings
It really depends on the game!
e.g. Null2's / Prodigy one is perfect for FF9 but with FFC:FF4, they have problems! Pete's DSound and the Internal one play FFC:FF4 fine!
For the Prodigy SPU (its a continuation of Null2's) I have a configuration of, 50 for the buffer size and 10 blocks!
I'm sure if you say what game you want to play then someone can give you a good config for it! :)

me agreed with ya..Ben
it all depends on game..for example..
there's only the prodigy one can run the MGS almost perfect..
though it crash at certain point..
and IOri or Pete's DSound will do a fine job for Resident Evil series
and i'm impressed when the Null's perfomance in FF9..
regardless..keep those latest SPU plug-in as u may
wanna play it around at certain game..
say..Ben..does the 10 blocks in prodigy makes better job?
most of the time me set the buffer length 20-50 and block 2-5
to make the interval equal =10..well.just for ur information:)
It just means you can have a larger sound buffer! So Echo's and stuff can be heard for a bit longer! More blocks = needs more CPU Power!
The Interval is worked out from the size of the buffer divided by the blocks!
so I get 5ms delay, where as if I only had 2 blocks with a buffersize of 50 then it'd be 25ms delay (which can mean sound is out of sync, depends on the game though (again :)))

so if prodigy is a continuation of nullīs, why didnīt prodigy have support for the savestates?

maybe just the timing problem...
the prodigy driver was released right after
or maybe same time epsxe1.4 was released..?
correct me if i'm wrong..
dat's why it doesn't got time to add the savestate support..
guess it will be done by the next version..
let's just wait and see:)
