Then it would make more sense to post about this in the AdriPSX forum. Moving.

Hello,
I had the same problem than yours: playing almost the entire 1st cd and after the rocket launch... nothing.
Since it was an emulator problem, simply converting a Adripsx save state to epsx would solve the problem, but there isn't any software (at least i didn't found any) that could do the trick. After editing both save state, i found that the only diference between both is that Adripsx saves each slot separately and epsx saves them in a virtual memory card all together, the code is exactly the same.
So, i've solved my problem following the next steps:
- create a new ff7 game in epsx and save in any save state;
- backup any Adripsx's save states;
- use any hex editor (in my case i used hhd hex editor 2.0 - http://www.hhdsoftware.com/) and copy everything in Adripsx's save state to the exact place in the epsx save state created in the 1st step (in hhd hex editor just find the beginning of the save state in epsx memory card - is just like the beginning of the Adripsx's save state - and paste)
If you have any question just mail me

I dont understand how to do it. I cant find where to paste the adripsx state. Do I delete the information in the epsxe save when I paste it and also the adripsx save state is like 100 times bigger then the entire memory card file filled with saves

A similar thing happened to me on the PC version. What I did was make the resolution riduculously low and waited for the thing to finish. I then put the resolution back to normal. You could try that (just a guess). BTW, what video card are you using?

Hello again,
You have to save as in any regular psx: go to any save state point (i think that in that part of the game you can always save outside) and use the regular save in the game's menu, NOT the image save in adripsx.
That procedure will save your game in a little file in the subdirectory mems in adripsx's directory.
If you have any problems, just mail me.
Bye,

there isnt a memorycard option on adripsx. if you go to his webpage (www.adripsxe.com) it says it only works on certain games that have synchronic memory card reading mode. FF7 doesnt. If you know of another way I can do it let me know.

I'm sorry to desagree with you, but i've already played that game and in FF7 there's memory card support.
Just press F3 in the game to activate the memory card emulation.
Bye
