View Full Version : Chrono Cross! FF7 pal! EVIL! EVIL!

In chrono cross, it always crashes when i use the teleporter, and now it crashed just as I got norris. (on the change character screen)
FF7 won't get past the squaresoft screen

here are my configurations:
nVidia Geforce 256 graphics card
Petes OpenGL driver/Soft driver

What are the best configurations?

Chrono Cross needs a .cht file loaded in order to get past the teleporter crash. FFVII crashes on the current version of EpsxE, you'll need to play if in an earlier version.

Which .cht file is this? i tried the one in the cheats folder but no go

Are your games both NTSC, both PAL, or mixed? Yes, the patch in the folder, but that patch is for the NTSC version IIRC...

Well, chrono cross was never released pal, so it is NTSC.
FF7 is pal

Just press F7 (v.1.2.0) or F4 (v.1.0.1) to get through the chrono cross teleporter/new character freeze.

U know there some tools when U have an iso to chenge the version
Pal to ntsc or ntsc to pal
SO....

I think there is a tool called PAL4U, which should do what you want, sorry but I dont have a URL.
