Behold here's a fully functional computer for $200 (http://www.msnbc.com/news/813350.asp?0dm=C12KT)!

Specs:
800 MHz C3 chip
128 MB of RAM
52x CD-ROM
10/100 Ethernet connection
keyboard
two-button wheel mouse
a small pair of powered speakers

So why is it so cheap?

Because the computer doesn't run on Windows, but linux-based Lindows 2.0!

Lindows can run Windows Applications!

AOL, arrrggghhhh! Non likem AOL, frowem way! Seriously, AOL, I don't think so, not even for that price. Also, what kind of graphics card does it have? I think I'll stay w/WIN XP PRO, I like that OS very very much.

The via C3, cant even stand up to my 550mhz k6-2, and this is a 1ghz chip! look:

The Via C3 was not supposed to be a desktop solution. It's one of the very few proccessors that can run without a heatsink/fan. For office work those kinds of proccessors are wonderful.

Reichfuher, my sister bought one of those retarded buck a day computers. They are indeed horrible. And yes, I did tell her that it was horrible, but she didn't seem to care. Overpriced garbage....

Hey, if u just use it for email etc, not super 1337 gamer computer guys like us, i guess it gets the job done.

No use buying a supercomputer to use email.

With this AOL computer, no1 should touch them with a 10ft pole, kinda like winME.
