problems changing to disc in Metal Gear Solid with epsxe!! please HELP!!!!

when i get out of the snowfield where sniper wolf is dead,the game request disc 2.when i insert the disc,the emulator holds ,and the screen stay displaying the insertion message without any changing.I´m using the original game cd´s.How must i confiure my cdrom? or how could i do the change without the emu crashed?

Um...did you press escape to go back to the main screen and then select file -> change disc and the appropriate option?
