Yea...I drive the prelude mostly. I didnt have a picture so I got that off the ebay prelude. Mine is a silver one. Not dirty like that...more clean. :evil:

Hating Subaru is impossible for car fans. I was amazed that Tom_E didnt know Subaru well. The Subaru 22B is legendary. Trying to beat one on a mountain track is impossible even with an M.LancerEvo or Skyline.

No idea why... it looks pretty good IMO. Very good performance and price as well.

Btw, TomE: The RX-7 is one of the vehicles that uses a Rotary engine. The Rotary engine is rarely used on vehicles, hence replacement parts especially the rotor blades are hard to find and expensive. The RX-7 is a very powerfull and beutiful car that's quite cheap, but maintainance is a pain in the ass if it isnt used as a weekend car(that is if you use it alot).

Edit: I wonder how many car fans are they in these forums? Is it okay to have a thread covering all car discussion? I cant bear the littleness of the word "car" being mentioned on this forum. :(

the skyline they sell here in the U.S. is nothing like the beauty they have in japan. Too bad that skyline doesn't meet the U.S.'s front impact standards. Oh well. As for me, I have a 2002 Volkswagon Jetta 1.8T. 1.8 liter turbo charged 4-cylinder in-line engine with 180 hp. Got a bit of turbo lag, but it's a fine car. If i had the choice, i would've went with the subaru WRX also.

What? They call that a Skyline? They shouldnt. The Skyline legacy ended at R34. Not that it looks bad, but a Skyline should be a performance car instead of a saloon. Oh well. :(

I forgot about this post. I hate the way subaru looks I know its a powerful car. Hey Skyline has 480 horses stock~ Skyline has power and looks. Only if the Subaru came up with more sports carish looks like the s2000 or 3000gt or eclipse or somthing like that. Im getting an 97 Eclipse instead of a Rx-7 now. Sold my prelude for an Eclipse.

Actually, the Skylines has less than 326hp even with a racing ECU, R34 having the most (326)hp and torque (39.7kg/m) The real pearl of the car is the aforementioned ATTESA and HICAS system, though. However, I still doubt that a R34 can outperform a Subaru 22B in tracks with many cornerings.
Subaru cars may not look good at the first sight, but look at one from close up and they're not so bad. Besides, the WRX version has much better looking lights.
