is there a program or command u can install on burnt psx games so the playstation doesnt say not psx disc, like a dc check bypass code or something?
i really dont wanna buy a boot disc.

Nope. Sorry:( That's hard coded onto the psx bios, the onbly way to bypass that is to install a mod chip.

You can also swap discs as it boots up I believe. If you have... say a NES emulator for PSX, you would burn it on a CD, and boot up the PSX as normal, with a regular black bottom CD. At a certain point after booting it up, switch the discs, and close the cover. The PSX won't know what you did, and will allow you to run the burnt CD.

Of course, you will need to keep the disc open detector held down. I suggest using a stick or something. It's in the back, on the right hand side. Just play around for a bit, and you'll find it. You can test it by seeing if you can run a regular CD with the disc cover open.

u actually have to swap twice b/c the ps checks both the bad block sector and the country lockout sector... and i can assume that this swapping is not good for the cd motor.

Swapping with any system is not a good idea, PSX or PS2. IMO you might as well get a mod chip.
