Does nero v5.5 corrupt winzip 8 files

I burned some zipped roms files on discplanet cdr's and found out that some of my zipped roms were corrupted(crc).
Has any1 had a similar problem with nero.

no way! nero is even UNABLE (!) to do something like that! it is your CD-R or your burner. I think you used a high burning speed with a low cost CD!

As bobotns said, either you burnt a CD at a speed that it didn't support or you've caused some degree of damage to the substrate on the disc (leaving it in the sun or in a hot room, for example). There's very little chance of Nero causing such problems, save for having a buffer underrun, though technically that's not Nero's fault either.
