pj64 question

i was just wondering, i recently went and dl'd the source for pj64 1.4, and i noticed a little thing, in the menu where u select which plugings u are goin to use, one of the options is

Reality Signal processor

but there are no plugin choices for it...
i'm somewhat new to programing and was wondering what this is for?
does it boost performance if u use it?
and is there anywhere i could dl a plugin or anything for it?
