Valkyrie Profile Help

Hi well Im trying to play Valkyrie Profile on the AdriPSX emulator and I get to a spot after the beginning where they teleport and the screen fades to black, but it doesnt return. If I listen to the sound I can hear the noises, but I cant see anything. If someone can help me please help!

It mostly seems like a GPU problem... but I can't figure out the problem with such little info. Can you tell me more about it?
For example, what plugins are you using, and what version of the game are you running. I played it in its US version, and worked fine.

Hey! I just registered in this forum to tell that I have this similar problem too!
Yeah, it happens when Valkyrie and Freya teleport to the world map the first time during the beginning sequences. The screen stays black but the sounds of them teleporting can be heard.

Heres some info:
My comp
Pentium III 733 Mhz (Coppermine)
256 MB Ram
Asus AGP V-7700 Geforce2 GTS/PRO
Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1
Windows XP Professional

The game
Valkyrie Profile US version

used emu settings
AdriPSX 1.0.5
Simple mode
Graphics: Software
Display: Medium[640*480]
Volume Control: Soft

This is on my home computer.

Then I also tried the game on one of my schools computers, and the same thing happened at the same point in the game.

Heres some info about the school comp:
Pentium III 933 Mhz
128 MB Ram
unknown grapchics card with Nvidia Vanta chipset
unknown soundcard
Windows 98

The emulator settings and game I used on the school comp were exactly same.
