I just updated the design of my website and would like some feedback. I know their's basically no content at this point since I just got the design done.

Please let me know what you think of the design and what you think needs improvement.

Thanks

Nice website.

What is the recommended resolution viewing because I am getting part of it cut off with the frames.

Thanks,
I run 1280 lines of resolution but I program most of my sites to work at 1024x768 and the site works fine at that depth.

I know a lot of people dont care about this stuff but I appreciate it. I just added a lengthy html tutorial that I wrote awhile back and a I added a small photoshop tutorial on pattern filling. I'll even concider ideas for future tutorials.

and ngemu is now linked.

Hi,

I like the design, especially the menu ;) But it doesn't seem to be working for me ATM :( I run ZoneAlarm with full ad blocking.. your script may contain something it thinks may be advertisements, and is therefore now allowing me to view, tho I am not really sure. Using IE6.0.

PS. It's a general rule for all websites to be 'compatible' with 800x600. Even thought most sites say 1024x768, alot of visitors are still 800x600. I think between 40-50% of NGEmu's visitors are 800x600, so we have to cater for them, and abide by certain constraints. It's better to spend that little extra effort @ the design phase making it friendly for all ;) I usually just make a 760x1000 pixel image in Photoshop, and that works fine 90% of the time.

Good luck ;)

Site layout is really good and I'm digging the mp3's. I would like some Photoshop tutorials.

In reality, I'm 23 years old and choose to stay in school since the economy tanked and the job market went to hell. Besides school, I build webpages, drink beer, go to the gym, and continuously drop resumes into blackholes like Monster.com.

lol

If you want mp3's why don't you download them from WinMX and so on

Thanks for the note on resolution dixon. The site does work at the lower resolution however its just looks a lot better at higher resolution. I believe RZetlin is running 800x600 in the screenshot above.

and about the menu its an html file linked to a js file. their's no spyware/adware or anything like that in the code. I checked after you asked. You must have javascript disabled because it works for me in IE and Mozilla.

drack300, I take note on the photoshop tutorials idea and I will try to add a few more throughout september.
