Just wondering if there's any disadvantages with directx 8. Just want to make sure before I decide to install it or not. Can anyone help?

DX8 works fine with my computer

DX8 does some errors sometimes and with espesific games. At least to me !!!

I have had no problems w/DX 8 at all. Either w/ePSXe or any of my many other emulators.

no problems here either...
and u can always unsintall it using dxun, i can send u the prg along w/ the DX backup tool b4 usgin dxun if u want :)
