Because of other projects of mine, regarding PS2 emulation and others, I've been too busy as to care about old AdriPSX ILE Edition.
During this week, a new release will be done, containing all full and partial changes done for the never released version 1.7.
Also, it is in my plans to remake it, using some new discoveries I've done on Recompiling and Portability engines. So, maybe there would also be a completely redesigned and re-coded AdriPSX in one month or so.
Well, that's all for now.

Hopefully yes. Until now adripsx is fastest plugin based psx emulator.
Lets hope this version wont be any different. :)

GPU settings are the settings in your graphics plugin, Petes or Lewpys? in there u'll be able to alter texture quality, offscreen drawing, fps limiters, and a bunch of other stuff that can make or break compatability. u should familiarize yourself w/ all the options. take a look at the included readme files w/ the plugins.

I have a question... I just noticed this... why did you capitalize 'GPU' when the before mentioned person didnt... that must mean you know that it is an appreviation...hmm... anybody else find this very very odd? I do....

Patience, rushing the author will not help. Maybe he's having problems in the real life, so please wait him to have this ready. I'd rather wait more for a nice release than have right now a new version full of bugs.

I must apologize for all the latest AdriPSX delays, but I've been a little busy with other works and developements. Also, I don't want to release AdriPSX "as is"... I'm giving my best try in the implementation of some new "recompilation methods" I've been thinking these last few months (originally planned for PS2 emulation). I want to try these "implementations" in a small scale (AdriPSX) before it could be used in PS2 or DC emulation, and it may take a little more time until having it complete, as well as a little tested before releasing it as a "beta".
So I can only tell you to forgive me and be patient
Roor :)

August 19th, 2002, 06:34
cool, but the ps2 emulation he's working on is probably like in beta stages like pcsx. Man, I've seen ps2 emus in process by adriPSX and PCSX... What are the Epsxe creators doing?it's probably time for a new epsxe release, unless they've cancelled the project without notifying us...
