You may need to set you off-screen drawing to a higher number say 2 or 3. I think some things are still missing with 2.

What's up with the top of the shot, the part that isn't the game. Looks like you're using 256 colours, but that can't be possible:D maybe you should try updating to the latest version of pete's opengl.

The lastest version of Pete's GPU plugins is 1.64. You can get it here (http://home.t-online.de/home/PeteBernert/) .
And below is my configuration for MGS. I play with almost no glitches (except some hardly visible ones anyway):
Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.64

GFX card: GeForce2 MX/AGP/SSE

- Keep psx aspect ratio: on
Textures:
- R8G8A8A8
- Filtering: 0
- Hi-Res textures: off
- Palettized tex windows: on
- Garbage collection: on
- VRam size: 32 MBytes
Framerate:
- FPS limitation: off (note: I use this option with the "spuasync"->"wait" function of the Eternal SPU plugin to get perfect sound)
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto
Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 2
- Framebuffer texture: 2
- Framebuffer access: 0
- Alpha multipass: on
- Mask bit: on
- Advanced blending: on

Try changing your sound plugin to the internal epsxe plugin. That saved most of my MGS problems.

well u start out with the basic program i like using epsxe, then u get some plugins for video, sound, and cd rom, then u need to get a bios scph1001 is the one i use but no one can tell u wich cite to get it from because it is forbiden to do so and all ne one can say is search google or yahoo for it, it wont take long to find then u put the bios and plugins in the folders that says "plugins'' bios" its easy then u just configure the plugins to your computer and specific game

I pretty much get like 54 frames per second, and 24 in Codec Sequences, though it doesn't cause lag, and the sound and facial movements are in tune aswell ^^ No skipping here!
