Gran Turismo 1 and mem cards

I've been playing Gran Turismo with epsxe. At first I was able to save stuff to the mem card, then intermitantly the game would fail to see the card, until finally it stopped seeing it alltogether. Deleting the mem card and letting epsxe make a new one doesn't help. I'm still able to see the contents of the mem card when booting into the bios. But it's no good in Gran Turismo. Is there a fix? Are you using save states. When I started using them my memory cards stopped working so I don't use'em anymore. That said I'd be suprised if you were as I could not see a reason for using them in a driving game :confused:

Nope i haven't even bothered with saved states. I'm at a loss here. Thanks :eyes:

Have you tried pressing F4 or enabling SIO Irq? That ususally solved memory card problems not associated with save states.
