I'm glad to see another programming savvy person (unlike myself) deciding to lend a hand to all us avid gamers here.

eheheheh before being a coder I am an avid gamer too :p and as I found an old PSX for free I decided to code a GPU I am not sure if DirectX or OpenGL at the moment since I have to buy a new videocard soon ( I am trying to decide if buying a GeForce2 GTS is worth the price instead of a GeForce2 MX ) ... but I am quite sure it would be OpenGL since it's much more easier and powerful than DirectX ( at least less messy !! :p ) ... I will spend my free time coding this plugin since I work 8 hours a day :( well 'work' ... mmm I am working now too ehehehe  CYA :)

My vote would go toward OpenGL.

Adair : mmm I think OpenGL should be the one too :p
FireGL : ehehhe see my machine :) I have a PIII 500Mhz and a Asus 3200 ( but a GeForce2 coming soon :P ) I cannot code OpenGL without the GeForce since Voodoo Banshee only has a poor OpenGL to Glide wrapper but no HW support for openGL :p
