Hello all,
I have been able to run GT2 fantastically on my system thanks to the tips on there forums, and was hoping some of the gurus out there can help me with this one.
I have successfully set up my controller as analog and such in the ePSXe control panel, but my problem arises in that GT2 itself does not detect a Dual Shock controller, hence the analog can not function as it detects a 1st gen gamepad only controller.
If anyone has found a solution to this problem, please post and let me know or post and give me a link with a fix, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks everyone, great forums.

I hav got the same thing as u, splat. Mine works fine, maybe it depends on the drivers itself? I'm using monster game pad drivers from www.levelsix.com

yeah my adapter came with a driver disk, but when i put it in my drive it said that the disk needed to be formatted. but the usb adapter is detected fine win windows and the analog joysticks work fine in windows too. I downloaded adripsx and there was a joypad driver that came with it that detected them fine, but adripsx itself would not work for some reason. i have the controller type set to dualshock w/ force feedback. hopefully i can find a solution for this.

Did you select "Digital/Analog" in the Game Pad options?

yeah i did, and i get nothing. gonna try that driver yogi suggested when i get home from work tonight
*edit* i forgot to mention that the all the buttons on the controller work fine in epsxe, its just the axies (sp?) that don't get recognized, or the force feedback.

yeah that driver didn't work. i tried to add a new controller and select that monster.ini, and it kept saying that it didn't have any info about my controller. but it seems that the driver is just to install it in windows and so u r able to use all the buttons etc. I am not having a problem with that. in the jowstick prefferences, all 16 buttons show up and when i push the analog button, the analog sticks work fine. however, my problem lies within epsxe. i can configure all of the buttons, just not the analog axes. i saw some 1 said that u have to edit the registry, but they didn't say what line to edit and what to set it as. so, any clues would be great.

I've been experiencing the same problems with GT2 and ePSXe.
I have a Dualshock 2 w/USB adaptor, windows joystick control pannel detects it and can calibrate it include both analog "sticks", and ePSXe ver 1.5.0 allows me to configure it as a digital/analog gamepad but GT2 doesn't seem to recoginze the analog functions.
The various buttons work, to some extent, and the left "stick" can be used to steer the car in a digital manner but I can't configure the gamepad under GT2 options, nor does it detect it's analog functions, nor does force feedback seem to work.
Any help, advice or suggestions would be greatly apprecaited!!
Thank you

As suggested above make sure that you have selected "digital/analogue" as you joypad type in the gamepad options.
NB// rumble is only currently available on joypad 1.
