I'm using epsxe on ff8. Every time I get to the"Giant Spider" after I fight him the first time the screen goes black afterwards. I've tried looking for a game save right after so I could just skip it. My search for a game save has been unsuccesfull. Could someone be so kind to play the game up to that point then give me the save. If you can please save right outside the city. I would really apprieciate it!:emb:

If you save state before the problem, someone can take it and load it, then do a save state after the problem and post it back for you to load.
that will be easier on people that having to start the game from the beginning and getting all the way to that point.

wierd

Find the save state that you are using and then upload it to the board with a post, its right under where you type your post.

I guess I attached the file right. I didn't know which file to get so I just made a copy of my save states. The ff8 is the only savestate in there. So you don't have to worry about others. If anyone can do this for me just save right out side the beach. OH YEAH I almost forgot I don't know if this is important but I saved it under Slot 2.

i suggest making an iso that elamates in possible cdr problems. Just pete's newest one, the epsxe, or xeven's cdr plugin.

How do you make an iso? I don't even know if I got the right stuff.

Well, it's not hard... there's a post somewhere on this board that has everything you need to know about making one... just search for ISO... and look around a bit...

*But* I think we've got the same problem... and for me, an ISO did nothing... neither did a new CD plugin... or any other plugin for that matter...

I dont KNOW that our situations are the same... so you might want to try anyway... but for me it didnt work

This thread is over 2 years old :p. Next time, please don't revive such old threads.
