The game won't let me save. At first I wasn't worried, since I could just use save state, but when I got to the second disc, save state didn't work anymore. Now I need to figure out how to use the memory card so I can continue to play. Please Help!

Also: Can some tell me how to use ( and enter) the cheat codes?

What sort of error when saving did the game give you? Or did it just lock-up?
To use a memory card just configure it in the menu(pretty straight forward) play the game and save it like you would normally on a ps. Refer to docs for a little bit more info.

What sort of cheat codes?
In-Game cheat codes? Just enter them normally like you would a real psx.
Or gameshark/genie type cheat codes? You would need [pec] which can be found @ http://pec.emucheater.com/ . Instructions on how to use it is on the website.

I configured the memory card, but when I enter the save game, load game menu, it won't let me, like I don't have a memory card or something.

Have you tried pressing f4 before saving?

It won't let u? Like it turns grey or something? This is propably wrong but....r u actually near one of those save spheres or whatever they're called? :)

ancient thread but i have the same problem: the game wont let me save. the mem card is configed properly that i know cuz iv been saving other games on it. the whole thing just crashes to windows and it looks like this:

You have to reach the save spheres in order to save your game. If you do that, then check that your memory card is selected.

as i said me mem card is configed properly since i already used it

Your sig image is 40 pixels too tall and about 60k too large.

What happens if you try to use save-states?

il make a new sig to fit the limits if u give me a day or two.sorry.

save states work flawlesly but since the author of this thread(CMSof2005) said he had problems using states later i wona take care of the problem now.
