Problems downloading epsxe v 1.2.0 and v1.4.0

Everytime i try downloading the executable files for epsxe v1.2.0 and epsxe v1.4.0, my system will crash just before the download is complete, but this does not happen to the older versions, why is it so? Pls help. Thanks.

3. when you extract (if its zip-type) or install (if executable)

I have tried downloading at different times for both the versions and for both the zip files and the installer, but each time the result is the same: The system will crash.

If your computer is crashing when you're trying to download a couple of small executables, that's a sign of some SERIOUS problems, imho. In fact, you're the first person I've heard with problems downloading either. Have you tried downloading at both psxemu.com and epsxe.com?

ultima735: Are you using any form of download manager? If so, could you try downloading without the DM, eg. Save Target As...

If this problem happens to ALL kind of internet Downloads (not just epsxe) - then this man HAVE some Serious Problem either with His Internet Connection, or Windows...

Thanks for all the help, but my problem has already been solved. The problem is with some anti virus problems running on my pc. But this crashing problem does not occur with other executables which i download.
