Best settings for 2D games like Megaman X.

On Megaman X6 the graphics are blocky. I was wondering if it was a way to smoothe them. I tried screens smoothing with Pete's plugin but it slows it down and doesnt realy look better just fuzzy.
My pc specs are in my profile.

Try a software plugin, like Peops ou E}I{, they're usually better for those games.

try using Hi-Res Textures (2xSal, much vram needed) w/screen smoothing its looks really good:)

Do what Badaro said or use a resolution of 640x480 and enable 2xSAl in petes gpu pluggins.. You can also try the sprite smoothing option..

Thanks fivefeet8 that makes the game looks perfect and no slowdown. The resoluton and 2xSAl made the game look just like it does on the PSX....or even better!
